From 21 to 24 October 2026, the international broker network will gather in Lisbon for the 75th WBN Global Conference, one of the most important industry events for independent insurance brokers worldwide.
In an increasingly complex global environment, international collaboration and local expertise are becoming more important than ever. The latest edition of Verlingue News explores key challenges, including climate and natural catastrophe risks, evolving regulatory requirements and the growing importance of quantifying the financial impact of cyber risks.
Another key focus is the expansion of Verlingue’s international presence. With Verlingue Portugal joining the Worldwide Broker Network (WBN), collaboration across the network is being further strengthened. At the same time, Verlingue continues to expand its expertise and presence in various European markets.
Switzerland will be represented by Paul Berchtold (Managing Director Zurich and Director International) and Marco Hofstetter (Head of Pension), who will attend the conference and exchange insights with international broker partners.
